Dakshina (2019) - An Ode to Indian Classical Dances
Upasana Kalakendra students and gurus presented Dakshina 2019 to packed audience on Dec 08, 2019. The audience witnessed pure Indian classical dances in Bharathanatyam performed by young children from the age of 5 years to adults.
Dakshina (2018) - Keeping Traditions Alive
On our 10th Anniversary year of formation, Upasana Kalakendra students and gurus presented Dakshina 2018 to packed audience at Stafford Civic centre in Texas on Dec 09, 2018. The audience witnessed pure Indian classical dances in Bharathanatyam performed by young children from the age of 5 years to adults.

Our Carnatic Music Annual Recital
Nadopasana 2017 was held at Midtown theater and Arts Centre (MATCH) in Houston, Texas on Nov 15, 2016. The audience witnessed pure South Indian classical - Carnatic Music, performed by young children from the age of 5 years to adults with live Orchestra
Influence of Dance on Body and Mind

Our Annual Recital, A tribute to Indian Classical Dances and Music
We named our Annual Recital 'Dakshina' as a symbology of offering from our students to their Gurus, Parents and all art lovers.
Dakshina 2016 was held at Midtown theater and Arts Centre (MATCH) in Houston, Texas on Nov 15, 2016. The audience witnessed pure Indian classical dances in Bharathanatyam and Mohiniyattam, performed by young children from the age of 5 years to adults who have trained under Anisha Rajesh at Upasana Kalakendra.

Upasana Kalakendra's 'World Ethnic Dance, Music and Arts Series' introduces and promotes traditional and cultural art forms and its practitioners from different parts of the world to the mainstream US audience as well as US academia.
